Collaboration

Invite someone to the vault, then decide which folders and notes they can view or edit.

Invite a teammate

Create an invitation from the vault menu. Once accepted, the teammate can open the same notes and see live edits and presence.

Set access

• Shared: teammates can edit.
• Read-only: teammates can view.
• Private: access must be granted explicitly.

More specific folder and note rules let you narrow or extend access without creating duplicate vaults.

Files on every device

Each authorized desktop recreates the Markdown files locally. The server stores collaboration state and metadata rather than becoming the only readable copy.
